The Blair Witch Project was fiction
Nine years on and I'm still sick of these dumbasses whom believe that the Blair Witch Project was actually a true story, I was cornered by a guy the other day whom gave me evidence that it was based on a true story, since it says so at the end of the movie, okay maybe if it had just come out I would believe him but can anybody be that stupid, the internet is obviously wrong I quote him in saying.
"You can't believe everything you read on the internet!"
Okay, you can't believe everything you see in a movie now categorized fiction!
This is coming from a gullible idiot whom believes, footage of people being stalked and murdered can be made into a huge movie that the film makers (whom he believes are dead) can make up to $300,000,000 for their film, hell sure if their dead then how come they have done several interviews over six years after their death.

Yes they're certain sites on the internet that you can't believe, here's on its called
blairwitch.com and it shows the history of the spooky area and talks about after the students disappear the massive effort of the Maryland State Police to find the missing students, deploying over 100 men, dogs and several search helicopters yet not a single newspaper covered the event, the police and citizens of Burtittsville, Maryland are happy to confirm this never happened.
The legend of the Blair Witch was invented by the film's writer/directors, Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez. Myrick and Sánchez hired three young actors (Heather Donahue, Michael Williams, and Joshua Leonard), explained the outline of the film's story to them, gave them advice about the characters they were to play, then turned them loose in the woods with film equipment to shoot movie footage. The actors received notes and supplies left for them and carried a GPS device with them for tracking purposes, but they didn't know exactly what was going to happen once they embarked on their journey.
"People come up to us all the time and say, 'We're so glad you're alive.' To me that's a real gauge that it worked," says actress Heather Donahue.
And just in case you're wondering the actual witch in the film was, of course, fabricated using a complex system of simply never bothering to show her at all!
The movie is classed as SCI/FI (the fi in sci-fi meaning fiction dumbasses.)
