'The Turner Diaries' a neo Nazi's fantasy
Awhile back I remember hearing about the FBI wanting to ban the 1978 book The Turner Diaries calling it a bible of hate or something like that, I decided to actually read the book so I downloaded it and read it over the period of a week keeping an open mind.
After finishing it I had to agree, the book in itself is evil, a neo Nazi's wet dream!
It begins in the year 2099 after the discovery of a diary belonging to one Earl Turner from the early 1990's, it chronicles his life as part of The Organization which begins with petty acts of terrorism, gun smuggling and robberies.
As the novel progresses so does the Organizations campaign of terror starting with the well described bombing of an FBI building which inspired Timothy McVeigh to carry out the attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 which killed 68 people!
As the book progresses the Organization captures physical control of Southern California including Vandenberg AFB using it to carry out nuclear strikes against New York City and Tel Aviv, it then describes the ethnic cleansing of all non whites including Jews and Asians and also the execution of 'race traitors'.
Earls description leads to his decision to carry out a suicide raid on the Pentagon hoping to stop the Organization from seizing back Southern California, after that the epilogue tells a bit about the "great world" he helped create which consists of 50,000,000 whites only across the world and the extermination of all other races.
A very disturbing vision of the world in the eyes of a certain group of people and if given the authorization to burn books I'm sure this would be rightfully on top of the FBI's list of books to ban!

Wow, I'm as against banning books as you could get, but this book is *bad*. Seriously, I wrote better stuff in seventh grade without even trying. This is pathetic.
I have a newfound respect for Tim McVeigh for being able to finish that.
