what this 'New World Order' really is
George HW. Bush's short description of the New World Order was made as the Soviet Union had collapsed and the new world that would come out of that, however what this really is is a similar idea to the American Empire but more the rise of the Anglo-American Empire since the United States remains the one super power or hyperpower in the unipolar world that came into being after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
It's been said alot across the news media however after Obama became president, here I'm going to put forward my opinion of what it really is using facts and recent political developments.
In the past 200 years North America has been the most peaceful continent, never fighting it's wars at home but usually halfway across the world these wars being some of the most bloodiest and brutal in recent history.
Europe is being made smaller in diversity being pulled into the one umbrella of the European Union which has grown to old Soviet satellite states and still has several very powerful NATO members within it to counter Russian influence, but is very open to American influence, the special relationship between the US and the United Kingdom is helping form the building blocks for this New World Order which is only favorable at the moment to those living in Europe and North America.
But what about the rest of the world?
However a bi polar world has emerged outside of the United States today, the big autocracies such as Russia and Iran and the major economic outside the US which consist of China, India and Brazil, but the United States seems to be changing the world for the better for it (not the world), doing at least one coup a year since the failed Bay of Pigs (an attempt to rid Fidel Castro using Cuban exiles trained by the CIA) in 1961 in several cases installing brutal governments and putting up with horrible human rights abuses.
The United Nations is really the sole property of the US, through intimidation, threats and it's use of veto it manipulates the world to serve its interests, the UN is used to seek the US action as legitimate even though they may not be (war in Iraq) or to build coalitions for wars or bully other states to imposing economic sanctions on states America is against such as Iran.
Forcing countries to become economic slaves to the US was something new in recent history, showing that not only do you have to defeat a nation militarily, however militarily the US is stretching that arm very strongly in their quest to control the world.
The Middle East is nearly 7,000 miles from the United States where most of the worlds oil reserves are is under Western control.
The war in Afghanistan has seen the US install a government not much better than the Taliban they removed (after giving the Taliban the means to rise to power in the 1980s) after sacrificing hundreds of soldiers in this fight securing oil reserves from a pipeline stretching from the Caspian Sea.
The brutal Iraq War has seen US troops withdraw from all major cities letting the new Iraqi Army put forth by the new (and corrupt) Iraqi government, US forces there are still very large set in new massive permanent bases letting US forces use Iraq as a permanent base to strike at any other part of the Middle East.

US troops are deployed in nearly every country surrounding Iran and have threatened to attack several times in the last three years, have put forward that the Iranian government is a horrible regime that supports terrorist cells like al Qaeda and are backward because of economic sanctions imposed by the United States, however that is not true and the US and Israel have threatened to attack several times over it's nuclear program refusing to accept a nuclear Iran regardless of what Iran's rights are.
The real fear (for American interests) is not a nuclear armed Iran but a perfect example of how good a state could do with no relations with the US, Saudi Arabia unlike Iran are not developing any other aspects of it's economy for when it's oil eventually runs out, just how dependent on them as the US wants them to be!
US one sided support for Israel over the years has questionable mortality especially after the US did nothing after Israel developed well over a hundred nuclear missiles that could strike any city in the Arab world.
So while they have the Middle East by the balls a recent development has being happening all across the continent of Africa which has various different raw materials and minerals, a massive US humanitarian operation (Africom) has seen US military forces spread across 53 African nations.

While it's not very plausible to invade a continent like Africa it is possible to control it, a hefty amount of Rangers spread across strategic regions would secure vital US interests in the regions while before extracting them pitting different ethnic and religious groups against each other from sheer manipulation through the spreading of horrible falsehood's while giving different adversaries a balanced share of arms to kill each other.

While this could make the region poorer it makes US power in the area stronger than it really is and allows them to mine the ore minerals that will be necessary to carry wealthy western nations through the rest of this century and the 22nd and 23rd centuries.
However to completely control Africa and it's resources will boil down to depriving the Chinese of their access to Sudan (where they get their oil) and Zimbabwe (where they get their raw materials), this is one of several examples of how other economic powers of the world will be deprived of their main foreign resources meaning that the standard of living for their people rapidly decreases.

A coup in Georgia led to the rise of Mikhail Saakashvili whom in August of 2008 attacked South Ossetia separatists leading to the Russians having to move in to protect it's citizens there, afterwords an attempt under President Obama was made to get Georgia and other former Soviet republics to join NATO!
Yes tying the US and several major European states to fascists like Mikhail Saakashvili who might launch another war along the Russian border which could lead to a confrontation between NATO member states and Russia which could escalate into a nuclear standoff!
Aligning allied states for a possible war with Russia, someone who should be our friend!
There are 191 countries in the world, the United States has bases in 130 of them!
After all of this one would have to question whether America is evil!
My answer is a very firm no.
As I said before there has been no war on the North American continent in generations so the present generation of Americans has no conception of the horrors of a war in their backyards but see wars they fight 'away' are indefinitely in their interests. The security of their American Dream can slow down development across the east and take food directly from the mouths of the poorest.
So yes the biggest nation combining ignorance and self arrogance can in turn be the biggest threat to the well being of the rest of the world!
