PSYOP's as simple as playing loud music?

In 1989 the United States invaded Panama in Operation Just Cause, the operation was to capture the countries leader, general, and dictator Manuel Noriega who ended up besieged at the Vatican diplomatic mission in Panama City (Vatican embassy).

During this time loud rock and roll music was blasted day and night through boom boxes, it truly made life hellish for the Pope's emissaries.

It was stated not to be (even though it had made the prospect famous) a psychological attempt but was used to prevent eavesdropping on the negotiations, while at the same time it worked just in that role as it put pressure on others in the building since they were being bombarded from all angles for over a week with non stop blaring music.

Neither way in the end it worked as Noriega surrendered and was arrested and flown back to the United States to stand trial.

Another more famous example was in Waco, TX in the United States in 1993 when the Branch Davidians led by David Koresh (formerly Vernon Howel) ended up in a 51 standoff with the ATF and later on the FBI in their compound at Mount Carmel.

Power was cut, along with the water and food supply, among other things the song 'These Boots Are Made for Walking' by Nancy Sinatra was played as a kind of macabre joke, at night powerful searchlights were pointed in at various windows along with the sounds of slaughterhouses booming on the loudspeakers making the slightest relaxation impossible for the besieged.

However Waco did end in a horrible disaster and the PSYOP's tactics used were questionable to the tactical value of bringing the Davidians to a peaceful surrender!

Now all we have to do, is find out what type of music Obama hates, and play it outside the whitehouse until he resigns.
